Grupo Frontera Mesa Concert reviews
Always love Jeff
The show was Grupo Frontera at his usual outstanding performance - a mixture of his outstanding ventriloquism with his great material! On this evening, Grupo Frontera spent the first half of the show doing regular "stand-up" without his usual cast of characters. He captivated the crowd with his wit and humour as he talked about his life and his "second family" (infant twin boys versus his 3 adult daughters). I have seen Grupo Frontera several times before and would definitely go again, but the only negative was the floor seats with no offsets so that essentially no one could see anything except the large screen. Next time, I would choose a less expensive seat in the stands and off the main floor if it were not for the great feel of the crowd. The second half of the show was his original cast of characters along with his newly introduced member - the advisor to the President! Anyway, as to the show, I never get tired of his many great characters as they always have new material. If it were not for the great feel of the crowd, you would have been better off at home watching the show on a TV. But, the live crowd made it worth the admission.
